Orthodontics UCLA School of Dentistry 2010 (DDS Degree); Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine 2013 (Specialty Degree in Orthodontics) I am laying the groundwork for a career devoted to organized dentistry and community involvement. Currently, I am involved in the AzDA LEAD program and am a member of the AzDA Council on Membership, New Dentist Committee. Last, I have received my board certification from the American Board of Orthodontics, a distinction demonstrating a commitment to clinical excellence in my field. My wife, Danielle, is a pediatric dentist (pg 28). We have the good fortune of working together in the same wonderful practice. She is my partner both personally and professionally. When we are not discussing teeth, we go on adventures with our 2-year-old, Brooks, and our newest addition is a boy named Levi! We love to experience all that Arizona has to offer. As a family, we love to hike, swim, and ride bikes. In the warm summers, I enjoy escaping to Southern California to surf and stand-up paddle. As third-generation Michigan Wolverines, My wife and I are also both University of Michigan sports fanatics! Words to live by: Make it be. Let it be. Mentor: My mentor is my childhood pediatric dentist, Dr. Richard Mungo. He taught me that a career in dentistry is more a life passion than simply a job. He demonstrated the importance of giving back to your profession through leadership and teaching opportunities. Dr. Mungo also instilled in me the value of life-long learning and to continuous improvement to bet- ter serve our patients and profession.
